ALX Pro for Custom Homes 

The dream of building a custom home comes with a lot of excitement. As the builder, there are many features you can put in place and customize. Westcoat can help with many aspects of custom home building, including waterproofing solutions for your balconies and roof decks. 

ALX™ Pro is our most sophisticated waterproof walking deck system. Reinforced with metal lath and a fiberlath reinforced membrane, this bonded system is a series of polymer-modified cementitious applications and is sealed with Westcoat’s SC-10 Acrylic Topcoat or a more decorative Custom Finish. 

Designed for use on plywood, the finished product weighs approximately 2½ lbs per square foot. This system gives plywood the look and feel of concrete with a decorative appeal. It is recommended for the discriminating homeowner that demands the greatest in strength and durability.  

20 Year Warranty for Certified Pros 

Qualified contractors or QCAs are professional applicators that have a proven track record and are certified to install Westcoat systems.

We offer ALX Pro with a 20 Year Warranty when installed by one of our certified QCAs.

Not only are these systems fully waterproof but they allow for quick access after installation is completed. Layered metal lath and fiberlath reinforced membranes provide unmatched strength and seamless durability. The construction and thickness of this system makes for excellent sound reduction qualities. 

Whether you choose a standard acrylic topcoat or a more custom decorative finish, the final coat is UV resistant and can be made skid resistant for safe walking. Twelve standard colors provide the base for optional customization with water-based stains and varying sheens.
