Accessibility Statement
Westcoat is committed to making westcoat.com usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. We review the site regularly, with automated checks and by hand, and fix problems as we find them.
What we have done
- You can reach every page, menu, dropdown, search and form using only the keyboard, and a “Skip to main content” link is the first stop on every page.
- Your keyboard position is shown with a clear outline.
- Menus, buttons, links, forms and the mobile menu are labeled for screen readers.
- Pages have a main content area, headings in a logical order, and labeled search forms.
- The site works at narrow widths and when zoomed in.
Known limitations
We are still working on the following:
- PDF documents. Many of our PDFs, such as safety data sheets and product specification sheets, are not fully accessible to screen readers.
- Photos. Many photos in our library do not yet have a text description.
- Forms. Our forms are provided by HubSpot. The outline that shows which field you are in can be faint, and the placeholder text in some fields may be hard to read.
