Originally leaning toward a fluid applied system, the architect at MC Consultants ultimately specified a Westcoat waterproofing system. Westcoat was specified for our color selection, finish options and sloping capabilities. 

Daniels Concrete Construction installed MACoat + WP Wrap on the private resort style pool deck. The crew sloped and built up the surface as they waterproofed the area. 

WP Wrap was used to waterproof all joints and where the concrete abutted the wall. The skip trowel texture was coated with SC-10 Acrylic Topcoat and a thin layer of SC-65G WB Clear Polyurethane Sealer for a gloss finish.

ADVANTAGES OF WP WRAP

WP Wrap is a supplemental waterproofing system used to provide additional waterproofing with reinforcement, along the perimeter of decks, over flashing and other challenging areas. It incorporates an asphalt-modified latex, elastomeric WP-95 Waterproofing Membrane, with a flexible engineered WP-45 Flashing Fabric, to create a seamless, reinforced waterproofing membrane.
