Antimicrobial Epoxy as a Flooring Solution
A great option as a stand-alone epoxy system, or in conjunction with the following systems; Epoxy Slurry, Thin Film, and our Double Broadcast System (Dubro) is Westcoat’s Antimicrobial Epoxy also known as EC-40.
This product is a two-component, 100% solids, medium viscosity, low odor, high-build epoxy that inhibits the growth of fungi, bacteria, and algae. EC-40 also controls organisms that cause odor and degrade coatings. Clear and pigmented options are available and are manufactured for ease of use prepacked with no additional additives required to mix in.
Its application would be recommended in restaurants, hospitals, pharmaceutical manufacturing, commercial kitchens, laboratories, animal care facilities, and any areas that require an anti-fungal coating.
