Julio Ortiz

Julio was born and raised in Miami, Florida, with early childhood years spent in Atlanta and Raleigh before eventually returning to Raleigh with his own family. He studied Economics and National Security Studies at Florida International University where he later earned his degree.

Professionally, Julio has worked with contractors, distributors, government agencies, and military clients across domestic and international markets. His experience spans architectural, commercial, industrial, and protective/marine coatings. Starting at Sherwin-Williams in management and sales set the stage for his growth into a consultative sales professional. Julio is known for his analytical, customer-focused approach—taking the time to understand each client’s business in depth and delivering tailored solutions that position him as a trusted partner.

Outside of work, Julio enjoys spending time with his two young sons, often playing Nintendo games or building with Legos. He is also trilingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, a skill that stems from his Miami roots, strengthening his ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.
