Harmony Public Schools is a large charter school management organization in Texas. They aim to provide students with high-quality education with a large emphasis on STEM. Each year, they host a Harmony Public Schools Leadership Summit where companies in different industries participate to introduce their products and services to attendees, similar to a conference or trade show.

Our primary objectives were to build connections with education board members and superintendents and to establish relationships with leaders. We wanted to showcase how Westcoat’s school floors are safe and durable. Furthermore, we aimed to engage with the educational community to explore ways to provide support and implement workforce programs.

Westcoat Introduces Systems Best for School Flooring

On July 20, 2023, Westcoat Sales Representative Chris Doran managed a booth for the company ready to show off Westcoat’s best flooring solutions for schools and answer questions. Westcoat wishes to emphasize the versatility of our flooring solutions, which are suitable for commercial and residential floors, as well as school floors. We use proprietary formulas that have been rigorously tested to ensure long-lasting and durable results, and offer a wide range of protective and decorative options.

Chris promoted our Epoxy systems, focusing on Westcoat’s 100% Solids Thin Film System in particular. This system is an epoxy floor coating that offers durability, chemical-resistance, and a rugged thin to medium-build surface. This seamless system uses 100% Solids epoxy and is ideal as a light-duty coating in industrial flooring areas that don’t require heavy-duty use.

At Westcoat, we emphasize the significance of investing in durable and high-quality flooring solutions for long-term benefits in your surroundings. Our priority is to provide products that are less harmful and have lower VOCs by using water-based technology and 100% solids in some cases. This approach results in safer installations, reduced environmental impact, and improved design and functionality for the finished system. Over time, school flooring may deteriorate with chips, uneven areas, scaling, and other issues. Damaged concrete floors pose a risk for students, teachers, and visitors to the facility. Safety is our top priority at Westcoat, and preventing slips, trips, and falls is of utmost importance.
