Seco Construction Supply, a DBA of John Latta Associates, Inc., provides sealant and waterproofing services in the Pacific Northwest. As one of Westcoat’s distributors for many years, they wanted to grow our product line. Since the office in Spokane, Washington was already planned to redo its showroom, this provided the perfect opportunity for Seco to do so!

The client desired a resurface that was equal parts durable and aesthetically pleasing. Westcoat Rep Lee Jenkerson, after some consultation, decided that Dubro Quartz was the appropriate system for the job, to be installed by Westcoat QCA Artistic Concrete Surfaces.

Unfortunately, the project had a few setbacks. An abatement process was needed to remove the VCT before any application could be started. The old floor’s original lighter color required three broadcasts of sand to cover and hide properly. Finally, some indecision about the floor’s gloss level prolonged the duration of the project. With the company’s large logo front-and-center, Seco had to reflect its strong image by dressing it up with three topcoat layers to achieve the desired appearance.

Despite the challenges, everyone loved the final result!

EC-15 Moisture Vapor Barrier is a uniquely formulated, two component, 100% solids, zero VOC epoxy that is moisture tolerant and diluent free.
