It is our utmost pleasure to introduce our new Industrial Flooring Specialist, Gary Dunn.

Introducing Gary!

We are excited to add a new member to our Southern California team! Gary will be joining Bill England in the Los Angeles area and brings 15 years of commercial flooring experience to Westcoat. 

Gary grew up in Long Beach, California with two brothers and his parents, both public school teachers. He attended University of Arizona majoring in Communications with a minor in Journalism in hopes of becoming a writer after graduation.  

What Gary brings to Westcoat

A family friend encouraged him to get into sales after college and he got a job with a flooring distributor calling on retailers moving into commercial contract sales. It was a perfect fit and he introduced his brothers to the flooring industry and even met his wife at a distributor. 

With over 15 years in commercial flooring sales, both working with manufacturers and distributors, Gary has spent most of his career working with commercial architects and interior designers, as well as general contractors and developers. 

Over the past few years, Gary became somewhat of a multi-family specialist which is what attracted him to Westcoat. His focus evolved to working with flooring finishes and assemblies and how they relate to sound transmission in various construction types.  

More About Gary

Gary enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as their rescue pup, Jones. A sports fan, Gary enjoys playing golf with his friends and being outdoors. He enjoys cooking at home, discovering new restaurants and live music. He looks forward to traveling more as his daughter gets older.
