Pool Deck in Sin City Needs Improvements
The MGM Grand Las Vegas is a 6,852 room hotel resort with a 6.6 acre pool complex featuring many amenities including cascading waterfalls and a lazy river. Guests can enjoy poolside services including food and drink or even a massage. Renting a private cabana takes your luxury pool experience to the next level.
Why the MGM Pool Deck was Resurfaced
The Elite Pool Deck, known as “Wet Republic”, has thousands of people walking on it each day and was due for resurfacing. Westcoat rep Marc Di Zinno decided on a Grind and Seal system using EC-95 Polyurethane Topcoat and CA-31 anti-skid beads. The bands and borders of the remaining 90,000 square feet within the pool complex were resurfaced with EC-11 and two contrasting pigmented topcoat colors.
The Finished Results
ADVANTAGES
EC-95 is designed for professional use only and is specified as the finish coat for use in heavy traffic areas. Apply EC-95 as a coating over most Westcoat epoxy floor coatings. EC-95 is also used as a sealer on a variety of other substrates such as plain concrete, Texture-Crete™ and stained concrete flooring. Use EC-95 on decorative floors, garage floors, industrial floors, restaurant floors, food processing facilities and automotive service areas where a low maintenance floor is desired.
