This Hot Job comes to us from Jeff Bach of Bach Custom Coatings out of the Portland, OR area.  The project was a 6,000 square foot multi-purpose room at a local church. After removing the glued down carpet, Jeff and his crew were faced with the task of removing all of the thick, sticky, yellow mastic. Once this was accomplished, they continued to diamond grind the surface leaving the slab in pristine condition.

The church wanted a finished product that would be warm and inviting as well as be easy to maintain. What was applied accomplished both of these requirements perfectly. Once the area was masked to protect the walls, windows and fixtures, Jeff applied our SC-35X Water Based Stain using a combination of the colors Mahogany, Shale & a touch of Onyx. From there a coat of EC-11 Water Based Epoxy was applied and followed by a top coat of our SC-66 Water Based Satin Polyurethane. With all of the natural light coming in from the large windows, our Satin Polyurethane was a great choice. The church congregation couldn’t be happier with the result.
