Ray grew up in San Diego, CA and moved to Franklin, Tennessee in 2011. He began his construction career in 2006 while wrapping up a bachelor’s degree at San Diego State University. Working as a Project Engineer for a commercial contractor provided the foundation for future roles within the construction industry. In 2010, Ray ventured into the coating industry with Life Deck Coating Installations and after moving across the country, transitioned to a business development role with Westcoat Specialty Coating Systems.

Over the past 7 years, Ray has worked as a Project Manager for a coating and polishing contractor. His primary goals as a Westcoat representative are to provide solutions and add value for customers. He especially looks forward to working with design professionals to enhance their understanding of the coating trades. Ray believes a balanced approach to supporting applicators, distributors, and specifiers will lead to sustained growth in the Southeast.

During his spare time, Ray enjoys attending concerts and spending time outdoors with his family. He will never turn down a good cup of coffee or BBQ!
