2026 System and Product Changes from Westcoat

As we move into 2026, we’ve streamlined and strengthened our product lineup to better support contractors, architects, distributors, and facility professionals. These updates include new product integrations, enhanced packaging and sizes, and the retirement of a few systems and SKUs to ensure our offerings remain competitive, efficient, and easy to specify.
Below is an overview of what’s new, what’s updated, and what has been discontinued for 2026.
What’s New
Mer-ko Systems Now Part of the Westcoat WP Category
Several trusted Mer-ko systems have officially been brought under the Westcoat brand within our WP Waterproofing category, making it easier than ever to specify and locate these systems:
- Shur Deck
- Shur Deck Over Concrete
- Mer-ko
You can now find these systems directly on the Westcoat website within the WP category.
Mer-ko Product Numbers Transitioned to Westcoat SKUs
The following Mer-ko products are now fully integrated into the Westcoat line with updated identifiers:
- TC-11 Dry Polymer Basecoat Cement (formerly MK-5)
- TC-12 Shur Deck Fine Cement (formerly MK-6)
- TC-13 Coarse Deck Cement (formerly MK-1)
- TC-14 Fine Deck Cement (formerly MK-2)
- WP-96 Sprayable Waterproofing Membrane (formerly MK-26)
- WP-89 Liquid Emulsion (formerly MK-30)
- WP-49 Mer-ko Slip Sheet (formerly MK-65)
- WP-48 Tri-Directional Fiberlath (formerly MK-75)
- WP-30 Westcoat Glass Lath (formerly MK-71)
This alignment supports clearer system compatibility and simplifies ordering across channels.
Product Updates
Several key products have been improved or repackaged to increase convenience, versatility, and stocking efficiency.
- SC-10 Acrylic Topcoat: Updated color offerings are now available. See SC-10 Color Chart for details.
- EC-15 MVB: Now packaged in 3.16-gallon kits (405 oz). Former 4.125- and 1.65-gallon kit sizes are discontinued.
- CA-16 Cement Decelerator: Increased size to a 24 oz canister (formerly 12 oz).
- SC-65 Water-Based Polyurethane: Increased Now available in 1-gallon and 4-gallon kits. Twenty gallon kits have been discontinued.
Discontinued Systems
To keep our offerings focused and efficient, the following systems have been retired:
- Acid Stain
- Epoxy Pebble
- Stamp-It
Discontinued Products & Color Changes
The following products and materials will no longer be available. When applicable, recommended alternatives are noted.
- WP-51 Polyurethane Sealant
Recommended Replacement: WP-53 Hybrid Sealant - EC-12 Fast Cure Primer
Note: EC-12 Epoxy Primer now features faster dry times - EC-32 High Build Topcoat
Recommended Replacement: EC-36 100% Solids Epoxy Clear - EC-84 Pebble Binder — System discontinued
- SC-30 Acid Stain (10 colors) — System discontinued
- TC-06 Stamp Texture Cement — System discontinued
- CA-20 Stamp Release — System discontinued
SC-10 Color Discontinuations
The following colors have been removed from the chart: Cashew, Rosewood, Tile Red, Slate Blue, Canvas, Salmon, Coral, Butterscotch, Powder Blue, Seaside, Lime, Winter Mint. See the Updated SC-10 Color Chart for current offerings.
