Wow! Another year at the World of Concrete, here’s a note from Paul Koury, President of Westcoat:

We had a serious jump in attendance at our booth this year and I believe we outpaced the overall jump in attendance.  Also better quality customers, I think the pre show marketing was great.

The 2016 World of Concrete has come to a close and it was a great to be able to see everyone, including some faces we may not have seen in a while. If you came by the booth, you know about our exciting new products! We will be releasing more about those soon, so be on the lookout.

I want to thank you for attending our Happy Hour at the Hofbrauhaus and for giving us a chance to show how much we appreciate you, and share some great German beer.

I look forward to what 2016 has in store for all of us with the great partnerships that we have!

Thank you for joining us!

Paul Koury

THE BOOTH
We really out did ourselves this year with our new booth and it proved to be such a hit. Sometimes you have to take that extra leap and show everyone you are here to stay. We had a full booth with all of our reps visiting with existing and potential customers, it was such a great atmosphere to have

THE VISITORS
Traffic in our booth was non-stop and all around good times, we were very exciting about seeing everyone who came to say hello. We were able to talk one on one with existing applicators about new projects they have coming up and get the inside scoop on our upcoming systems and products. Collaborating with our applicators and hearing what their needs are only makes us stronger, we love getting their input about our systems.

HAPPY HOUR!
By far our most anticipated event of the year is our annual World of Concrete happy hour, this year we celebrated at The Hofbrauhaus. With a tradeshow of this magnitude attracting customers and friends from all over the United States, you are sure to have a great turnout. We were able to catch up with so many great applicators and distributors this year. Great food and great beer, cheers!

THE STAIRS
The stairs leading into the South Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center are coated with our EC-34 Epoxy Topcoat – so of course we had to call attention to it! These stairs were made for walkin’!

NEW PRODUCTS – NEW REPS
We had several exciting products and systems to talk about this year, Temper-Crete, ALX Interior, Grind and Seal vs Polishing, and the versatility of an overlay. Our team was ready to answer questions about new products and discuss differences between processes.

New Arizona Rep, Matt Kadin, was getting some training this week. “Hmm, what IS tougher than epoxy?” he asked. Los Angeles rep, Mallory Lordson, was there to help him out, “Temper-Crete Urethane Cement of course!”.

If you didn’t get to meet our new reps, they will for sure be making their round introducing themselves as the new faces of Westcoat. Kevin Ross is heading to Texas and Matt Kadin will be representing Westcoat in Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado. We are lucky to have such hardworking and knowledgeable reps join our team.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Huge congratulations goes out to Chris and Byron Klemenske, who stopped by our booth with their great news.  They were named Concrete Construction’s 2016 Most Influential People – read more here. We have a long working history with T.B. Penick and could not be more proud of our friends accomplishments in the construction industry.
