It is with great pleasure that we introduce our newest Architectural Representative, Darin Schroeder. He will be working with Chris Tapia in the Bay Area.

Darin’s Background

Darin is a San Diego native and grew up in the construction industry, often working with his father who was a general contractor. He began working for his father from the beginning of high school and stayed in the industry for about 8 years. While working with his father, he served as a general laborer and eventually helped out with scheduling and managing jobs.

Darin attended Butte College and received an AA degree in business administration. After that, he transferred to Chico State University and graduated with a BA in Business Administration. He also played collegiate baseball at both Butte College and Chico State.

Darin most recently worked for a manufacturer of continuous glucose monitoring systems for diabetics. Beginning in inside sales, he eventually worked his way up to the account specialist role. Through his time there, he learned how large corporations function and what is needed of its employees but he longed for a greater role in sales which led him to Westcoat.

Extra Curricular Activities

In his spare time, Darin likes to hike, golf, exercise, and hang out with friends. He is a big fan of exploring new places, restaurants, and cities and is very excited to begin his new adventure in the Bay Area as an Architectural Representative for Westcoat.
