Westcoat Specialty Coating Systems Product Support Representative is a full-time, inside sales and customer service position. You will be working alongside our corporate leadership in our contemporary San Diego headquarters, with easy access to South Park and Downtown neighborhoods.
We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. You will be working with new and existing customers by using a consultative sales approach to educate construction industry leaders on how to best use Westcoat Specialty Coating Systems to enhance their clients’ environments. This position relies heavily on constantly providing world-class customer service and technical support for our devoted customer base.
$14 – $17/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Understanding and serving customer needs and requirements – in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Build rapport by providing information and responsive explanations.
- Assist Sales Team by maintaining and expanding database of prospects.
- Support business development by routing qualified opportunities to appropriate sales executive for further development and closure.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- College degree (or working toward a degree) in Business, Communications or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including exceptional telephone etiquette
- Strong phone presence and ability to handle high call volume
- Keyboarding / data entry
- Organization with strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
Experience:
- 3 years customer service
- Proficient with Office 365
- Database management
