Logistics Support & Product Support Representative

Westcoat Specialty Coating Systems Logistics Support and Product Support Representative is a full-time, inside sales and customer service position. You will be working alongside our corporate leadership in our contemporary San Diego headquarters, with easy access to South Park and Downtown neighborhoods.

We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic individual to join our growing team. The position will work with our order fulfillment and logistics team to get the product shipped accurately and on time You will also be working with new and existing customers by using a consultative sales approach to educate construction industry leaders on how to best use Westcoat Specialty Coating Systems to enhance their clients’ environments. This position relies heavily on constantly providing world-class customer service and technical support for our devoted customer base.

$14 – $17/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling & managing shipments for outgoing freight orders
• Handling Will Call orders
• Understanding and serving customer needs and requirements – in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Build rapport by providing information and responsive explanations.
• Assist Sales Team by maintaining and expanding the database of prospects.
• Support business development by routing qualified opportunities to appropriate sales executive for further development and closure.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• College degree (or working toward a degree) in Business, Communications or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong phone presence and ability to handle high call volume
• Keyboarding / data entry
• Organization with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn

Experience:

• LTL Logistics Experience
• 3 years of customer service
• Proficient with Office 365
• Proficient in Sage 100 or similar software

Bonus:

• Sales experience
• Knowledge of construction trades
• Hazardous Materials Shipping
