Ryan with Monarch Concrete Coatings shared this amazing grind and seal job with us from SXS Industries a custom car warehouse in Orange, CA.

This 3500 square foot showroom floor needed to be done before their grand opening celebration this coming weekend and Monarch Concrete Coatings knew he was up for the challenge.

Ryan and his crew removed all the carpet glue that covered the entire space with their large grinder. Then they patched all cracks with Westcoat TC-29 Crack Patch, Ryan said, “You could hardly see the cracks when dry!”. To prep the floor they then applied Westcoat EC-11 Water-based Epoxy as a primer. They followed that with two coats of Westcoat SC-65 Polyurethane Sealer, Ryan mentioned that SC-65 is his favorite of the Westcoat sealers.

EC-11 Water-Based Epoxy is a premium quality two ecomponent, chemical resistant, long pot life epoxy coating. It provides epoxy toughness, medium gloss and durability with the convenience of a water-based system.

SC-65 Water-Based Polyurethane Sealer is a two component, high solids, water-based, polyurethane sealer. This product provides properties equal to that of traditional urethanes with fewer health and environmental concerns. The UV, mar, and chemical resistant nature of this product will cause it to outperform most other types of sealers.
