In high-density cities around the nation, we are seeing significate growth of new affordable, multi-family housing complexes. It seems that in every spare corner there are new construction or reconstruction projects that are focusing on housing for low-income families. On top of providing jobs for thousands of construction employees in various fields, this is also an exciting time for these families and communities around the United States.

Affordable Housing

As more and more of these communities and complexes emerge, the need for budget-friendly and compliant waterproofing and concrete coating systems are widely sought. Requirements like Fire Ratings and warranty lengths are common among these spaces, and architects and builders alike value companies that can provide it all. So, what does Westcoat offer?

Waterproofing for Plywood Substrates

Westcoat’s ALX Waterproofing system is a great solution for plywood substrate walkways, decks, stairways, and patios. The completed product weighs approximately 2 1⁄2 lbs per square foot. This system gives plywood the look and feel of concrete with a decorative appeal.
