Paul Koury, a San Diego native, began working in the concrete industry in the late 70s where he acquired experience in concrete resurfacing. In 1981, Paul created his own resurfacing company, Pacific Pebbles, which specialized in the installation of epoxy pebbles and waterproof deck coatings. He eventually moved into decorative concrete coatings and renamed his installation company, Life Deck. Paul then decided to create his own line of resurfacing products, which included waterproof decking systems, epoxies, concrete stains, and decorative coatings. Now after over 30 years in business, Paul Koury’s brand of Westcoat products are available through specialty distributors and can be found on thousands of high profile jobs throughout the country.
