Each year the UCSD Concrete Canoe Team competes nationally in designing and building a canoe made entirely out of concrete. Read more about the team and competition HERE.  We supplied the team with our Water-Based Stain and SC-65 and Sc-66.  The team ended up placing “4th overall in the 2010-2011 PSWRC Concrete Canoe Competition and placed 3rd for the Final Product.  Again, the 2010-2011 Concrete Canoe Team appreciates all the help especially from the samples that Westcoat gave us.” Congratulations Concrete Canoe Team, we look forward to supplying materials next year too!
